![]() My engilsh is not that good, but by "far-away" planes I mean AIs that just fly away from you. We already have some nice infrastructure at some airports, so why not make some ue of it? Not actual AI request, but I would imagine a possibility to refuel at airports (that could also be used for AIs, why not?). Also, because of this mode's predictability, why not throw in some text-to-speech ATC? It would also be nice to have this mode's ground vehicle version, so you could make AI cars that would drive around the island (similarly to the present convoy), and even for water vehicles. This could be easily done without any actual AI, the planes could just fly "on rails" predefined by the game developers. I would also love to see a new mode that would make the plane behave as an standard airliner, eg flying from island to island, mabye even taxiing from the runway to hangar to refuel. The Aggresive mode is good as it is, but again, only thing you have to do when trying to evade an aggresive AI is to fly above the sea so the AI will simply dive in and die. An AI plane with "default" would just take off, casualy fly around the local island (preferably without crashing and burning and dying), and when it is running out of fuel it would land at any nearby airport na despawn there (maybe in one of it's hangars). I imagine the default option to be used for small airplanes. ![]() Of course this would cause some lag, but why not put a nice tick box "Enable random traffic" in the options? Also, an cockpit option that would ban the plane from being used as random traffic (for example when you do not want to spawn cars, large aircraft or some non-aircraft props) would help (more in 6)).ĮDIT: I just noticed that they added it in c: but still, it is extremely random, spawning planes couple meters over mountains or making them go inverted for no reason It would be really nice to see the old random traffic feature, where random planes you made/downloaded spawned at random airports near you, flew around, and occasionaly even landed. ![]() (Also I know that the development of simple planes is stagnating, but it would be nice to at least make the AI moddable so players could technicaly define their own AIs etc) So, I have some suggestions and I am going to list them nicely Especialy when using SimplePlane's default planes (like the kicking fish), I expect the AI to be able to handle it without crashing into mountains next to the airport. I used to play the very old version, where you had random traffic (which I also miss a lot), and I never saw that many AI planes crash. ![]() Idk why, but nowadays the AI in simpleplanes (the default one) is extremely stupid. ![]()
